Licence transfer procedure:
This procedure is used to transfer a local software licence from one PC to another.
It is performed in 3 steps, and requires the use of the RUS software on the sending and receiving machines, which can be downloaded from the following address:
Step 1: Collect information on the destination PC
Download and run the RUS program (RUS_IRZWE.EXE) on the destination PC, click on the "Transfer Licence" tab and generate a PC identification file ".id".
NB: Select the name and location where the file will be created by clicking on the button.
Step 2: Generate the licence transfer file on the start PC
Copy the ".id" file created in step 1 to the starting machine.
Download and run the RUS program (RUS_IRZWE.EXE) on the start PC, click on the "Transfer Licence" tab.
In the second frame "Generate the licence transfer file", a table lists all the software licences protected by the Sentinel system.
Locate the Cover licence and select it (other software licences may be present, so be careful and select the correct licence).
In the first field under this table, select the ".id" file that you have retrieved from the destination machine.
In the 2nd field, select the name and location where the ".h2h" licence transfer file will be created.
Click "Generate Licence Transfer File" to create the file.
Once the file is created, the licence is uninstalled from the original PC, so Cover is no longer usable on the original PC. The licence is only transferable to the PC from which the ".id" file was created.
Step 3: Install the licence on the destination PC
Copy the ".h2h" file created in step 2 to the destination machine.
In RUS, go to the 2nd tab "Apply Licence File".
Select the ".h2h" file and click "Apply Update", and the licence is installed and Cover is ready for use.
