How do I make a breakthrough point with the Cover 3D software?

When creating a project, it is likely that you will need to create a breakthrough point. We explain how to create it with a few simple steps in Cover 3D.

1. In the "Design" tab, place a temporary point just above your ground point.

2. In "Node selection" mode, hold down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and select the three points allowing you to calculate the breakthrough point (generally the two back points and one front point of the construction).

3. Still holding the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard, select the two points allowing you to locate the drilling point. That is, the ground point and the temporary point, in that order.

4. Right click with your mouse. An option appears for "Place the direction breakthrough point on the plane". Simply select this option to have the new breakthrough point displayed on your project.

5. With this breakthrough point you can now complete all the points to define the roof mesh of your construction and thus continue your project.
