There are several ways to build a classic conservatory with the Cover 3D software. Once you have created your project, click on the "Veranda" icon at the top right of your screen.
A window will appear and you can name your construction.
When your construction is named, a second window appears and offers you three alternatives: create a veranda from scratch, from a parametric shape or from a library.
Depending on your choice, you will be more or less free to build your veranda. We detail them together below.
1. From scratch
As the name suggests, you build a veranda from scratch. You will have to create it from A to Z with your measurements and your customer's wishes.
2. From a parametric shape
Think of the parametric shape as a skeleton.
If you choose to create a veranda from a parametric shape, you can reuse a pre-built veranda to make it easier for you. The Cover 3D software provides you with a library of predefined parametric shapes that you can use and modify as you wish. It is also possible to add your own predefined verandas.
Please note: the parametric shapes are not finished verandas. You will have to use your tricks to build it more completely: define your frames, doors, roof and infills.
Once your parametric shape is dressed, you can save it in your library to use this model, thus completed, more easily.
3. From a library
If you choose to create a veranda from a library, you will have access to the complete predefined verandas in your inventory. No need to make any changes, the veranda is ready to build: frames and fillings are already present.
However, it is always possible to make changes to the veranda from a library if required.
